Aracari Solar Obtains Municipal Resolution on Development Plan for 17 MWp Solar Project in Northern Bavaria<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

<\/p>\n

Aracari Solar GmbH, a project developer for renewable energy systems from Thuringia\/Germany, has obtained a municipal resolution with which the development plan for a solar park in northern Bavaria was successfully completed.<\/p>\n

The solar park is located north of the city of Schweinfurt in the community of \u00dcchtelhausen and will be built on land with a total area of about 16 hectares on the former U.S. military training ground Br\u00f6nnhof. Around 28,000 solar modules are to be installed on three sub areas, producing around 18.5 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year. A particularity of this project are the massive bunkers on parts of the project area which will be covered by photovoltaic modules.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Construction of the Br\u00f6nnhof solar park is planned for 2024. The development plan was approved by the municipality in June 2023 and published in August 2023. Once completed, the power plant is expected to supply up to 6,000 households with renewable electricity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe approval of the development plan is an important milestone for Aracari Solar. We are very pleased with the progress of this challenging project, which was only possible due to the close cooperation of a variety of local parties\u201d,<\/em> says Hannes Langenhan, Managing Director of Aracari Solar. \u201cThe positive decision by the local council allows us to now focus fully on achieving the permit, the financing and construction of the power plant. We are confident that by converting this former military area we can make an important contribution to the energy transition.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The local municipalities\u2019 approval of the development plan came after consideration of any concerns raised by authorities and the public during the development planning. This was preceded by an intensive planning phase, which was carried out in close cooperation with the local community and other project participants. The next step is to obtain the building permit for the project.<\/p>\n
