Working Student (m/f/d)
Role Summary
Aracari Energy is shaping the energy transition by developing, financing, construction, and operation green energy projects in Europe and beyond. We are looking for an ambitious Working Student to support selected commercial and/or technical projects. This role will be key in supporting our business activities and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has had some first insights into the renewable energy industry and is striving for making a difference. The role is ideally based either in Berlin, Suhl or Munich with other locations (including working from home) being considered.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Supporting technical or commercial projects, e.g. studies of land or grid availability, in order to scale up our business development efforts
- Supporting project development activities, e.g. by preparing documents, carrying out technical and commercial calculations or preparing tenders
- Communicating with third parties on project progress
- Preparation of lease offers and supporting the contractual negotiations
- Preparing bids for auctions or PPA negotiations in order to secure offtake agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master student (m/f/d) in the field of business administration/business management, engineering (electrical/mechanical), legal, or similar and with a pronounced interest of shaping your future career in the renewable energy industry
- Basic understanding of engineering and economics related to renewable power generation
- Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Systematic, analytical and goal oriented
- Good MS Office (in particular excel) skills, knowledge of GIS, CAD, and/or PowerBI advantageous
- Fluent spoken and written German and/or English, written and spoken skills in Spanish or other relevant languages advantageous
- Ability to work between 10-20 hours per week
